The series complies with emissions regulations and includes innovative contents such as variable-geometry turbochargers, high-pressure common rail injection, new materials and breakthrough after-treatment technologies.

Case IH Quadtrac CVXDrive tractors are powered by an electronically-controlled 12.9-litre Cursor 13 engine, with a single-stage turbocharger on the 470 CVX and 500 CVX models and a two-stage turbocharger on the 540 model.
